Snowfall Totals for March 9th Storm

A low pressure system moved just south of the region today, bringing a rain and snow mixture to southern Wisconsin this morning. While most areas saw mainly snow during the morning hours, areas along the Wisconsin-Illinois border initially reported rain, with a transition to snow a little before sunrise. Below are two graphics depicting the snowfall amounts reported from trained spotters, COOP observers and the public.


All Winter Weather Advisories have been cancelled for the remainder of the afternoon as only light precipitation is forecasted for the rest of today.
