An April winter storm affected the region Tuesday April 19 bringing snow to much of the state. The heaviest snow fell across central parts of Wisconsin just south of a La Crosse to Green Bay line. Locations in Sauk...Marquette...Green Lake...Fond Du Lac...and Sheboygan counties generally received between 3 and 6 inches of snow. Snow amounts quickly fell off farther south with far southern Wisconsin avoiding accumulating snow with mostly rain falling with a brief period of sleet and snow mixed in.
