Milwaukee NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Operating at Reduced Power

NOAA WEATHER RADIO STATION KEC-60 SERVING THE MILWAUKEE AREA WILL BE
OPERATING AT REDUCED POWER TODAY WHILE ANTENNAS AT THE SITE ARE
UNDER MAINTENANCE. THIS WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF LIMITING THE RANGE
OF THE BROADCAST. THE MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE COMPLETE THIS AFTERNOON
AND THE TRANSMITTER POWER WILL BE RETURNED TO NORMAL AT THAT TIME.

A REPEATING TONE WILL BE HEARD DURING THE KEC-60 BROADCAST WHILE THE
TRANSMITTER IS OPERATING AT LOW POWER. THIS WILL STOP WHEN NORMAL
POWER RESUMES.

PARTS OF THE MILWAUKEE AREA ARE ALSO SERVED BY THE FOLLOWING
TRANSMITTERS. USE ONE OF THESE FREQUENCIES IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO
RECEIVE THE NORMAL BROADCAST FROM TRANSMITTER KEC-60 (162.4 MHZ).

MADISON.......WXJ-87...162.550 MHZ (CHANNEL 7)
FOND DU LAC...WWG-87...162.500 MHZ (CHANNEL 5)
JANESVILLE....WWG-90...162.425 MHZ (CHANNEL 2)
