Minimum Temperatures Dipped into the Single Digits for the First Time this Winter for Many

Overnight minimum temperatures dipped into the single digits for many places, ending around 7:00 AM CST on December 10, 2011.  The last time minimum temperatures dipped into the single digits occurred on February 11, 2011 and February 27, 2011 for the Milwaukee and Madison areas, respectively.

The map below shows the 24-hour minimum temperatures for the area ending around 7:00 AM CST on December 10, 2011. The counties included in the WFO Milwaukee/Sullivan forecast area is outlined.
