On Friday, January 20th, an upper level disturbance moved from the northern plains through northern Illinois, bringing a cloudy, snow filled day to southern Wisconsin. The highest snowfall amounts from this system were in far southwest Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Snowfall amounts diminished towards central Wisconsin, and hardly any snow fell in northern Wisconsin.
