July 2012 One Of The Warmest On Record (Updated 8/2)

Milwaukee and Madison had a top 5 warmest winter, the warmest spring on record, a top ten warmest June, and now the record heat has continued into July. In fact, July 2012 tied for the warmest July on record at Milwaukee, and was the 2nd warmest July at Madison. The tables below show the top 5 wamest Julys in Milwaukee and Madison:

So far we are also experiencing the warmest summer-to-date, as shown in this article.

The Climate Prediction Center's August temperature outlook doesn't show things cooling down in the near future either. The image below shows over a 50% chance of above normal temperatures in August for southern Wisconsin.
