A vigorous upper level low pressure system will sweep down from northwest Wisconsin, through western Wisconsin, and into northern Illinois this afternoon into tonight. Meanwhile, a surface low pressure system will move from far southern Illinois, to the Ohio River Valley. Brisk northeast winds wrapping around the low pressure system, over the warmer waters of Lake Michigan, will likely result in a few waterspouts this afternoon and tonight.
