Software Upgrade will interrupt Radar Data Today

The National Weather Service office in Milwaukee/Sullivan will undergo a software upgrade on its computer systems today.  The software upgrade will begin around 830 am CDT this morning, and is anticipated to be completed this afternoon.  The software upgrade will occasionally interrupt the transmission of radar data from the Milwaukee/Sullivan office.

The National Weather Service office in Green Bay will be in service backup mode and will prepare and transmit all the normally scheduled products issued by the NWS office in Milwaukee.  NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan will return to normal operations later this afternoon.
