Water surface temperatures across the area are climbing, though Lake Michigan and Lake Superior are still quite chilly.
The water surface temperature of Lake Superior is around 39 degrees at mid-lake and the water surface temperature of Lake Michigan is around 47 degrees at mid-lake. However, temperatures are warmer right along the Wisconsin shoreline. The temperature of Lake Michigan along the southeast Wisconsin shoreline is around 55 degrees. Conversely, the water surface temperature in the middle of Lake Winnebago has warmed up to the upper 60s.
