Real-Time Wave Information For Apostle Islands

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has a website that provides real-time wave measurements, water temperatures and wind speeds in front of the Mainland Sea Caves of the Apostle Islands in northwest Wisconsin. This information is now being provided in the form of a kiosk at Meyers Beach, a launch site for the Mainland Sea Caves. This information can be used by park managers and kayakers to provide advance notice of dangerous wave conditions at the Mainland Sea Caves.
