Thunderstorms This Afternoon And Evening

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase late this afternoon into early this evening as a cold front approaches. The main area or line of thunderstorms is expected to arrive in our west, near the Dells, around 7 pm and in our east, near Milwaukee, around 10 pm. However, scattered showers and storms will be possible ahead of the main area of storms.

Some storms may become severe, producing damaging winds and large hail. Severe weather is most likely late this afternoon and early this evening. In addition, heavy rain is expected with any storms that form.

The showers and storms are expected to exit far southeast Wisconsin early Friday morning.
