November 2013 Wrap Up

Temperatures for the month were 2 to 4 degrees below average across southern Wisconsin. Milwaukee had 6 days with highs at or below freezing, while Madison had 7. Temperatures during the last week of November were about 10 degrees below average across southern Wisconsin. On November 23 and 24, Milwaukee high temperatures were below the typical low temperature!

Precipitation was generally above average across southern Wisconsin for the month. Milwaukee's monthly precipitation total was 2.97 inches (0.26 above average), while Madison's was 2.20 inches (0.19 below average). Snow totals were 2 inches (0.4 below average) in Milwaukee and 3.5 inches (0.1 below average) in Madison.
