Madison NWR Transmitter has Reduced Coverage/Degraded Signal

The NOAA Weather Radio Station WXJ-87 serving the Madison area, which broadcasts on a frequency of 162.55 MHz, has reduced coverage and a degraded signal due to a damaged antenna. Parts are on order and repairs will be scheduled once they become available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
