Freezing Rain Advisory Until 6 PM

A Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect across most of south central and southeast Wisconsin until 6 pm this evening.  Low pressure passing south and east of the area will continue to bring light freezing rain to the area. Light snow may mix in across areas north of a Darlington, to Madison, to Mequon line during this time.

The light freezing rain will continue to cause a glazing on untreated roads and bridges, making for hazardous travel conditions.  Several reports of freezing rain with ice accumulations around 0.10 inches were recieved earlier today. There is a small chance for light freezing drizzle and light snow to linger tonight.
