Cold New Years Eve expected

For New Year's Eve enthusiasts, it looks like a cold Tuesday evening with temperatures near zero in the late evening.  These conditions are about 15 degrees colder than normal for the 1st of January in southern Wisconsin.  With winds from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph...bitterly cold wind chills of about 10 below zero are expected.  There is a slight chance of light snow during the evening.
