Saturday Snowfall Across southern Wisconsin

Low pressure moved from southern Minnesota across eastern Iowa into central Illinois on Saturday.  This system brought mostly light snow to south central and southeast Wisconsin. 

Portions of south central Wisconsin west and south of Madison received between 2 and 4 inches of snow, with most of the snowfall occurring between 8 am and 1 pm CST.  Belmont in western Lafayette county reported 4 inches of snowfall, while Beloit on the Illinois state line in southern Rock county reported 3 inches.  Madison officially received 0.7 inch.
