More Temperature Records Are Broken During This Cold Snap

The February 25th through March 3rd cold snap, which was a part of the coldest winter in 35 years, has broken additional records. 

On February 25th, St. Cloud set a new record cold high temperature of 4 degrees. The old record was 5 degrees, set on February 25, 1934.  

On February 27th, St. Cloud tied the record low of -20, and a new record low of -22 was set at Eau Claire.

On March 1st, St. Cloud tied the record cold high temperature of 0 degrees.

On March 2nd, Minneapolis and St. Cloud set a new record cold high temperature of 3 degrees.  In Eau Claire, the high of 1 degree was a new record for the date.  It is also the coldest high temperature recorded in Eau Claire in March since records began in 1893.

On March 3rd, St. Cloud set a new record low of -19. Eau Claire also set a new record low with -21.
