Record for Below Zero Days Broken for Many Areas of the U.P.

 

As the sub-zero days pile up, records continue to fall. This winter, sites with well-established temperature data-sets (>100 years) have observed the most sub-zero days on record. Iron River has seen a sub-zero temperature on ~75% of days since December 1st, while Iron Mountain has already broken their record by 7 days.
