NOAA Weather Radio Test will be at 1 pm ET Today

Heads up that the NOAA Weather Radio Test will be at 1 pm ET today instead of the normal time of 11 am to 12 pm ET.

The National Weather Service in Marquette will use NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards to conduct a test tornado drill around 1 pm ET today. The test tornado drill is being conducted in conjunction with severe weather awareness week occurring through April 12th. This test is part of a statewide tornado drill that will cover all counties in Michigan. The test will simulate an actual tornado warning. Persons are urged to practice their tornado safety measures during this time.
