With 10.6 inches of snow falling on April 20th and an additional 9.9 inches of snow falling on April 21st, the 2-day snow total at the National Weather Service office in Negaunee Township was 20.5 inches.  This ranks third on the list of the largest 2-day snowfalls after April 15th.  Below is a list of the Top 5 2-Day late season snowfalls at NWS Marquette.

In addition, record snowfalls were reached on both April 20th and 21st.  The snowfall for April 20th tied the previous record set in 1982 of 10.6 inches. The record snowfall was broken on April 21st, with 9.9 inches of snow. The previous record on April 21st was 2.3 inches in 1996.
