According to the National Data Buoy Center, maintenance and repairs to the Stannard Rock weather observing station will occur this summer, most likely during the July to early August time frame. At the time the maintenance is performed at Stannard Rock, maintenance will also be performed on the other C-MAN weather observing platforms on Lake Superior, including Devils Island, Rock of Ages, and Passage Island.
