Several seasonal products issued by the National Weather Service in Marquette we're ended on October 1st and will return in the Spring.
Since the growing season is coming to an end across Upper Michigan, many interior locations away from the lakes have already experienced a frost this Fall, and the climatological normal frost dates being past, the National Weather Service in Marquette has stopped issuing Frost and Freeze Warning Products effective October 1st.
Other seasonal products that ended October 1st are the Isle Royale Recreational Forecast, products highlighting the hazards of Rip Currents on Lake Superior, and the Surf Zone Forecast.
These products will return in the Spring.
