Sunday November 15th is Opening Day for firearm hunting of white-tailed deer in MIchigan.  Weather across the U.P. will be mild, mostly sunny, and somewhat breezy.

At sunrise, we can expect West-Northwest winds at around 10-15 mph across most of the U.P., and Northwest winds around 15-25 mph for areas within about ten miles from the Lake Superior Shore.  Then by around 3:00 pm, high pressure sliding across Wisconsin will cause winds to relax to around 10 mph, and in the Central and Western U.P., to turn Westerly. 

As the week goes on, we can look forward to high temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees each day.  Lows will dip into the 20s each night.  And the next chance for rain will be seen as next weekend approaches.
