Frost and Freeze Warning Products Ended for Season

Many locations across Upper Michigan experienced a significant freeze with temperatures falling below 28 degrees Fahrenheit during the morning of Friday, September 16th.  In fact, some locations across interior western Upper Michigan reported temperatures around 20 degrees.

As a result, the National Weather Service in Marquette has stopped issuing Frost and Freeze Warnings for the season.

The Frost and Freeze Warning program will resume in the Spring of 2012.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the National Weather Service in Marquette at 906-475-5212.
