The past week has ushered in cooler and wetter weather across Upper Michigan. As a result, much needed rainfall has occurred across most of the U.P., temporarily halting the worsening drought conditions seen over the past several months. Below are selected 24-hour rainfall totals across most of the U.P. as of the morning of 9/27/2011.
Rain chances are expected through much of the week as a weakening system slowly departs the region Tuesday and Wednesday before a strong system affects the area Thursday and Friday.
