Flood Advisories in Effect for the Sturgeon River at Alston and Chassell
A frontal boundary swinging eastward across Upper Michigan will continue to bring rain showers to the area. If heavy rain falls across the Sturgeon River basin around or upstream of Alston and Chassell, the already high river may rise above flood stage. As a result of this hazard, NWS Marquette has issued Flood Advisories. At this time, any flooding in these areas is expected to be minor.
