Bill, our Amateur Radio Operator at NWS Marquette!!!

Amateur radio operators are among a group of volunteers, known as "storm spotters," who report real-time severe storm and snow conditions to the NWS.  Their volunteer efforts greatly enhance the warning and forecast programs, leading to the protection of lives and property.  SKYWARN Recognition Day allows the NWS to recognize and thank them for their work.
