Third Longest Streak without a Subzero Temperature Ends

The temperature this morning (Jan 17th) at the NWS office located in Negaunee Township dropped to -10 degrees. This ends the third longest streak of consecutive days without a subzero temperature. The top 5 longest streaks are:

  2. 320 days from March 2, 2006 to January 15, 2007
  3. 317 days from March 6, 2012 to January 16, 2013
  4. 293 days from March 14, 1987 to December 31, 1987
