Volunteer Weather Observer needed in Crete

The National Weather Service is in need of a volunteer weather observer in the Crete area.

Continuous daily temperature and precipitation reports have been recorded in Crete dating back to 1880, and now a new volunteer is needed to continue this outstanding legacy of daily weather reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in weather who wants to render a valuable public service. No experience is necessary. Temperature and precipitation reports are needed only once per day.
