THE CLARINDA COOPERATIVE OBSERVER PICKED UP 0.05 INCHES OF RAINFALL
LAST NIGHT (JUNE 29TH) TO BRING HIS MONTHLY TOTAL PRECIPITATION TO
13.09 INCHES.

ACCORDING TO STATE CLIMATOLOGIST HARRY HILLAKER...CLARINDA/S
PREVIOUS JUNE RAINFALL RECORD WAS 13.04 INCHES SET IN 1943.

THE ALL-TIME MONTHLY RAINFALL RECORD FOR CLARINDA IS 17.67 INCHES
AND WAS SET IN SEPTEMBER 1926.

SO FAR THIS YEAR THROUGH JUNE 29TH...THE CLARINDA OBSERVER REPORTS
HE IS 8.94 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL (NORMAL FOR CLARINDA THROUGH JUNE
