Snowfall Expected Friday and Saturday 2/27-28/2009

An upper level low pressure system will track from the northern Rockies across the Central Plains and into the lower Mississippi Valley into Saturday.  This system will spread snow across eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.  The snow will end Saturday morning from northwest to southeast between 6 and 9 am. Areas along and north of interstate 80 will see 3 to 6 inches.  Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are more likely along the Kansas border.
