Important ...Severe Weather Drill Wednesday

The TORNADO DRILL DAY is Wednesday, April 8th.  Here is a timeline.
NEW CHANGES as of April 7th!!!
The Test Tornado Watch will be tone alerted.
Test Tornado Warning for Nebraska will use the TOR EAS code.       
Test Tornado Warning for Iowa will use the RWT EAS code.
Test warnings will also be sent through other dissemination systems.
0900 AM CDT...EM Conference call notification
0930 AM CDT...Practice EM Conference call
950 AM CDT....Drill sequence begins. A test tornado watch will be
issued for all counties in Nebraska and Iowa.  EAS code TOA
1010 AM CDT...Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Omaha issues a TEST
Tornado Warnings for our area, valid for 20 minutes. 
1020 AM CDT...WFO Omaha issues a Severe Weather Statement (SVS) 
as a follow-up to the Tornado Warning.
1030 AM CDT...WFO Omaha issue a SVS to expire the Tornado Warning.
1100 AM CDT...Drill sequence ends
