A cold front will move through the area on Sunday afternoon and evening. Ahead of the front, temperatures will warm quickly into the 80s. However, the cold front will bring dry Canadian air into the Plains, which will bring the relative humidity down to around 20% in parts of northeast Nebraska. Also, as the front passes through, winds will become gusty out of the northwest at 20 to 35 mph. The combination of these factors is expected to create very high to extreme fire danger in northeast Nebraska on Sunday afternoon.
