OMAHA...WITH A MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 45.7 DEGREES THAT WAS 
7.7 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE WAS BELOW 
NORMAL ON JUST ONE DAY...THE 3RD.  THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE OF THE 
MONTH WAS 75 DEGREES ON THE 8TH...WITH 3 DAYS IN NOVEMBER RECORDING 
HIGHS IN THE 70S.  THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE...24 DEGREES...OCCURRED 
ON BOTH THE 29TH AND THE 30TH.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR NOVEMBER 
WAS WITHIN ABOUT ONE DEGREE OF THE OCTOBER AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 
46.8 DEGREES...WITH OCTOBER MUCH COLDER THAN NORMAL AND NOVEMBER 
MUCH WARMER.  THE NORMAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO MONTHLY AVERAGE 
TEMPERATURES IS ABOUT 15 DEGREES.

NOVEMBER 2009 WAS THE 38TH DRIEST ON RECORD IN OMAHA.  MONTHLY 
PRECIPITATION TOTALLED JUST 0.36 INCHES...WHICH IS 1.46 INCHES BELOW 
NORMAL.  MEASURABLE RAIN OCCURRED ON JUST ONE DAY IN NOVEMBER...ON 
THE 24TH...WHEN HEAVIER RAIN AND SNOW FELL IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.  
THE STRONGEST WINDS OF THE MONTH OCCURRED ON THE 25TH...IN WAKE OF 
THAT RAIN AND SNOW PRODUCING SYSTEM...WITH GUSTS OUT OF THE 
NORTHWEST AT 44 MPH.

LINCOLN...WITH A MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 44.0 DEGREES THAT 
WAS 5.9 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.  THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE WAS 
BELOW NORMAL ON JUST 4 DAYS IN NOVEMBER.  THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE OF 
THE MONTH WAS 74 DEGREES ON THE 8TH...WITH 4 DAYS IN NOVEMBER 
RECORDING HIGHS IN THE 70S.  THE COLDEST TEMPERATURE...18 
DEGREES...OCCURRED ON THE 30TH.  THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR 
NOVEMBER WAS ONLY ABOUT 2 DEGREES COOLER THAN THE OCTOBER AVERAGE 
TEMPERATURE OF 46.2 DEGREES...WITH OCTOBER MUCH COLDER THAN NORMAL 
AND NOVEMBER MUCH WARMER.  THE NORMAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO 
MONTHLY AVERAGE TEMPERATURES IS ABOUT 15 DEGREES.

BELOW NORMAL ON JUST TWO DAYS...THE 2ND AND THE 18TH.  THE HIGHEST 
TEMPERATURE OF THE MONTH WAS 75 DEGREES ON THE 6TH...WITH 8 DAYS IN 
NOVEMBER RECORDING HIGHS IN THE 60S AND 70S.  THE COLDEST 
TEMPERATURE...16 DEGREES...OCCURRED ON THE 18TH.  THE AVERAGE 
TEMPERATURE FOR NOVEMBER WAS WITHIN JUST A FEW TENTHS OF THE OCTOBER 
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 43.6 DEGREES...WITH OCTOBER MUCH COLDER THAN 
NORMAL AND NOVEMBER MUCH WARMER.  THE NORMAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE
