AN EARTHQUAKE HAS BEEN FELT MODERATELY BY A FEW PEOPLE IN THE
AUBURN NEBRASKA AREA. MINOR DAMAGE IS BEING REPORTED THUS
FAR...WITH PEOPLE REPORTING THEIR WHOLE HOUSE SHAKING. NEMAHA
COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT HAS REPORTED SOME CRACKED PLASTER.

THE UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY CONFIRMS THAT A 3.5 MAGNITUDE
EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 853 PM. THE EARTHQUAKE WAS CENTERED ABOUT 2
MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF AUBURN...OR ABOUT 18 MILES SOUTH OF
NEBRASKA CITY...WITH A DEPTH AROUND 3.1 MILES.
