It may be winter outside, but spring is just around the corner. Storm Spotter classes will start in March and run through the end of April. Most storm spotters are involved with either emergency management, law enforcement, amateur radio, fire fighting, and emergency radio groups (ie; REACT). However, anyone can be a storm spotter and people can learn more about storms and the cloud formations that accompany them. There is no charge and there are no prior training needed to attend the class. All one has to do is show up at one of the presentations. The link below takes you to the current listing of storm spotter classes. This will be updated as new ones are scheduled.
