Storm Total Snowfall through 7am February 6, 2010

Additional snow fell during the day Friday and overnight with general storm total snowfall amounts between 3 and 7 inches.  Click on the map to see full-size.

Snowfall February 5th, 2010

Light snow and flurries continued across parts of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa Friday morning with the storm system over the area.   The storm system will move south into Kansas and Missouri today.  Snowfall amounts were generally between 2 and 5 inches, however much of the snow that fell Thursday during the day melted as it fell.The streak of 3 inches on the ground or more is still intact at Omaha as Omaha Eppley reported 3 inches on the ground on February 4th and 5 inches on the ground February 5th.
