Monthly/Seasonal Snowfall Through February 2010

The COOP observer reports are in for February.  Snowfall amounts generally ranged from 6 to 12 inches, with pockets of higher amounts, including 19.1 inches at Salem in Richardson County. 

Normal snowfall for the month of February is between 5 and 6 inches and normal snowfall for the month of March is between 4 and 6 inches.

This brings the seasonal snowfall for '09-'10 to a range of 35.3 inches (at Stanton) to 68.7 inches (at Humphrey in Platte County), which is well above the normal seasonal snowfall amounts of 27 to 32 inches.
