Heavy rainfall fell across the region this morning with many locations in the 1.5 to 3 inch range from Beatrice and Tecumseh to Syracuse, Gretna, Bellevue, Omaha and Council Bluffs northeast toward Harlan.  By 1230pm, observers in downtown Omaha and Tecumseh had a storm total of over 3 inches!

Below is the 24hr rainfall map through 7am.  Much of the rainfall fell after 7am.  For example by 1130am Valley, Gretna and Omaha storm total rainfall amounts had reached 1.87, 1.92, and 2.35 inches respectively.
