Brrrr...low temperatures this morning dropped into the upper 30s at Wayne and were in the lower 40s elsewhere in northeast Nebraska and parts of western Iowa. Normal low temperatures at Norfolk are in the mid 50s and in the upper 50s at Omaha and Lincoln. These lows did not challenge the record lows which were 34, 34, and 35 respectively. Check out our web page at : http://www.crh.noaa.gov/oax/?n=freeze for the first fall frost. We typically experience a drop into the mid 30s the third week of September in the north to the first week of October farther south.
