The table below highlights the June through August rainfall for a number of weather reporting stations across eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.  Note the ranks for June, June and July, and June through August.  Several stations set new records and are highlighted in RED!  The previous and current records are noted if they are in the top 5 wettest.

 From the table above, there were a number of precipitation records for June and June and July set in 2010, and also for 1967 and 1993.

Check out the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data below that shows the mean 500mb height pattern over the U.S. for this year, 1967, and 1993.
