The high temperature in Lincoln and Omaha reached 91 degrees on Saturday March 31st. The 91 not only set record highs for March 31st at each city, but it also tied for the warmest maximum temperature for any March date. March 25, 1907 also saw daily maximum temperatures of 91 degrees at both Lincoln and Omaha.
Temperatures will make one more run at 90 degrees today (Sunday), but after that much cooler weather is headed for the region. It is not out of the question that we may not see another 90 degree day until May or possibly even June (In 2009 the highest temperature in Omaha during April and May was 89).
