9 Tornadoes Confirmed on April 14

On April 14, 2012 (into the very early hours of April 15), a widespread severe weather outbreak struck the Plains.  Nine tornadoes touched down across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, and a severe thunderstorm dumped copious hail in Norfolk, Nebraska.  Other hail and damaging wind reports were noted across the area, as well as flash flooding.
