At Least 3 Tornadoes Hit Southeast Nebraska Monday Evening.

A NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STORM ASSESSMENT TEAM DETERMINED THERE  
WERE 3 APPARENT TORNADO TRACKS IN SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA LAST EVENING.   
TWO OF THEM WERE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY AND ONE IN GAGE COUNTY. THE  
STRONGEST TORNADO DID EF2 DAMAGE...WITH WIND SPEEDS ESTIMATED AT  
AROUND 120 MPH...BETWEEN DILLER AND HARBINE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.  
THE TRACK OF THAT TORNADO WAS AROUND 6 MILES.  
 
ADDITIONAL DETAILS ON THE TORNADOES WILL BE ISSUED WHEN THEY  
BECOME AVAILABLE.
