It is that time of year again when the threat of severe weather, including tornadoes, damaging thunderstorms winds, large hail and flash flooding, will soon be on a steady increase. Preparing for this annual upswing in severe weather is vital toward ensuring the safety of those in harms way.  It is not a question of IF severe weather will strike but WHEN. The severe weather campaigns in our region strive to promote heightened awareness and in turn prompt more intentional preparedness activities leading to a rapid response anytime severe weather strikes.
