Test of emergency message system to be conducted Tuesday

A nationwide test of the system to distribute emergency messages of national significance will be conducted Tuesday, November 18 at about 1:15 P.M. The ADR message may be relayed by local media through the Emergency Alert System and may trigger SAME-equipped NOAA Weather Radio receivers.  Additional information may be found at the National Weather Service's Service Change and Technical Implementation Notices page.
