In mid-November, a contingent of staff members from the Paducah National Weather Service office conducted a series of Winter Weather Workshops. The invitation-only workshops were conducted primarily for the emergency management and media community, along with other specialized NWS partners.
Workshops were held in Sikeston, MO on Nov. 18, Grand Rivers, KY on Nov. 19, and Carmi, IL on Nov. 20. Presentations focused on:
