November averaged cooler and drier than normal

 

  • At both Evansville and Paducah, temperatures averaged from 2 to 3 degrees below normal for the month. A couple blasts of unseasonably cool air occurred. Temperatures on the 9th, 21st, and 22nd averaged from 15 to 20 degrees below normal at most sites. 
  • November was a quiet month. No severe thunderstorms or winter weather occurred. Rainfall was nearly two inches below normal at Paducah and three-quarters of an inch below normal at Evansville. Below are the Evansville and Paducah climate reports.
