THE FOLLOWING IS THE DAMAGE ASSESSMENT FOR A TORNADO THAT OCCURRED
THURSDAY JUNE 11 2009 IN WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHWEST INDIANA.

* EVENT DATE - THURSDAY JUNE 11 2009

* EVENT TYPE - EF0 TORNADO

* EVENT LOCATION - TORNADO TOUCHDOWN WAS 5 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF
SPOTTSVILLE...THEN TRAVELED TO 2.5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HATFIELD IN
SPENCER COUNTY INDIANA.

* PEAK WIND - 75 MPH

* AVERAGE PATH WIDTH - 125 YARDS

* PATH LENGTH - THREE AND A HALF MILES.

* INJURIES - NONE

* FATALITIES - NONE

* DISCUSSION/DAMAGE...THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN NEAR THE BORDERS OF
RIVER BOTTOMLAND IN EXTREME NORTHEAST HENDERSON COUNTY AND THE
NORTHWEST TIP OF DAVIESS COUNTY KENTUCKY. THEN EXTENDED INTO SPENCER
COUNTY. A FEW TREES AND LIMBS DOWN...ALONG WITH SOME MINOR CROP
DAMAGE TO CORN FIELDS.
