ADJUSTED FOR THE PADUCAH NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE FORECAST

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTERS
AT PADUCAH HAVE MORE FLEXIBILITY WHEN DEALING WITH SITUATIONS
THAT RESULT IN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS BUT LESS THAN TWO INCHES IS

FACTORS AFFECTING THE IMPACT ON TRAVEL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT
LIMITED TO...

WHETHER THE SNOW OCCURS DURING PEAK TRAVEL TIMES SUCH AS RUSH
HOUR...
THE RATE OF SNOWFALL AND ITS EFFECTS ON VISIBILITY... AND
HOW PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES AFFECT THE RATE OF ACCUMULATION ON
ROADS.

FOR FREEZING RAIN...SLEET OR MIXED SITUATIONS...THERE IS NO CHANGE IN THE
ISSUANCE POLICY FOR WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES. ADVISORIES FOR
THOSE PHENOMENA WILL BE ISSUED WHENEVER HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS ARE
FORECAST TO BE WIDESPREAD...REGARDLESS OF FORECAST AMOUNTS.
